A restaurant platform in seven apps: order, till, waiter, kitchen and kiosk

The problem

Local restaurants were losing margin to delivery marketplaces and orders to phone chaos — busy lines, misheard orders — while the till, online orders, table service and the kitchen each lived in a different system. On top of that, every till in Germany must meet KassenSichV: each transaction signed by a certified TSE, with DSFinV-K exports ready for a tax audit.

What we built

• Customer apps for iOS and Android plus web ordering at orrderlo.shop: find restaurants by postcode, order for delivery or pickup, pay online
• A self-order kiosk for walk-in guests, running the same menu, pricing and payment rules as every other channel
• Staff apps built for the job: cashier for the till, waiter for table service, and a kitchen display that sequences dine-in, pickup and delivery tickets together
• Admin app and back office: menus, prices, availability, staff, stock and reporting across outlets, in one place
• German fiscalisation built in: TSE signing on every transaction, KassenSichV-compliant receipts and DSFinV-K exports
• AI assistance for owners: menu digitisation and sales and demand insight
• German and English throughout, with orders going straight to the restaurant — no marketplace in between
